Mastercard x HBCU

HBCU students have a lot to be proud of. Their schools are full of history, culture, and are a catalyst for creating Black success. It's no surprise to see them reppin' their schools any chance they get…even in their hair.

Mastercard created a new pre-paid card specifically for HBCU students, through their partnership with HBCU on the Green. Now, students can begin to manage their finances, while also giving back to their own school with every purchase.

We tapped actor/host comedian Terrence J, an HBCU alum, and casted real students and current members of the Sigma Gamma Rho sorority to help tell an authentic story.

Terrence even filmed some content for social media.
